Termite control for drywood and subterranean termites.

Florida has both. They live differently, leave different signs and need different treatments, from tent fumigation to Sentricon baiting. Termite inspections are free.

Sheet A

Drywood termites

Live entirely inside dry, sound wood. No soil contact needed.

Where
Attics and rafters, walls, trim, doors and furniture. They get their moisture from the wood itself.
Size & colour
Soldiers about ⅜ inch, swarmers about ½ inch. Usually pale brown; swarmers have clear or smoky-grey wings.
Signs
Piles of wood-coloured pellets smaller than grains of rice, blistered or hollow-sounding wood, discarded wings, swarmers leaving small holes.
Prevention
Store firewood and lumber away from the foundation, fit 20-mesh screen on vents and attic openings, and seal bare wood, nail holes and cracks.
How we treat it
Tent fumigation reaches hidden colonies throughout the structure that spot treatments can miss. It’s backed by our 3-year guarantee.

Sheet B

Subterranean termites

The most destructive termite in Florida. Colonies live several feet underground.

Where
In the soil, coming up through foundation cracks, plumbing penetrations and expansion joints inside mud tubes.
Size & colour
Workers ⅛ to ⅜ inch and cream-coloured; soldiers have brown heads. Formosan termites belong to this group.
Signs
Mud tubes on foundations and walls, swarmers, and damaged wood. A colony can hold more than a million workers.
Prevention
Keep four inches of foundation exposed, mulch off the house and siding off the soil. Keep drainage flowing away and fix leaks.
How we treat it
Termidor, which manages colonies within a couple of months, or Sentricon bait stations around the perimeter that eliminate the colony.

02 Treatments

Every termite treatment, one company.

Tent fumigation
For large and small structures: homes, condominiums, commercial buildings, churches, schools and more.
Termidor
Applied by trained Termidor professionals. Manages colonies within a couple of months, faster than bait systems.
Sentricon
Colony Elimination System. Bait stations around the perimeter; termites carry the bait back and the colony dies without disruptive treatment.
