Termites
- Where they live
- Drywood termites live inside dry, sound wood: attic rafters, walls, trim, doors and furniture. Subterranean termites live in the soil and come up through foundation cracks, plumbing penetrations and expansion joints.
- What to look for
- Piles of wood-coloured pellets smaller than grains of rice, blistered or hollow-sounding wood, discarded wings, and mud tubes on the foundation.
- How we treat it
- Tent fumigation for drywood colonies, Termidor or Sentricon baiting for subterranean colonies, plus Bora-Care and spot treatments.
Drywood tent fumigation carries a 3-year, 100% guarantee.

Ants
- Where they live
- Nests in lawns, walls and stumps, even beneath foundations. They come inside through tiny cracks looking for water and sweet or greasy food in the pantry.
- What to look for
- Trails that keep returning to the same spot. Ants follow an invisible scent trail, and a colony can reach 300,000 to 500,000 ants.
- How we treat it
- An exterior foundation barrier, a landscape barrier and pressurized exterior treatment, with transition areas treated where ants cross into the house.
On ant and rodent calls, a technician can be out for inspection and treatment within 24 hours, and if we can’t make it in 24, you’re guaranteed to have us there within 48.

Cockroaches
- Where they live
- German cockroaches live indoors and ride in on bags and boxes. American cockroaches prefer wood piles, dead logs and crawl spaces, and move inside when it suits them.
- What to look for
- German roaches are light brown with two dark stripes behind the head, 13–16 mm long. American roaches are reddish brown and can top 50 mm, about 2 inches.
- How we treat it
- Professional treatment plus sealing entry points, clearing debris and better food and garbage storage so they don’t come back.

Spiders
- Where they live
- Garages, crawl spaces and quiet corners where few people disturb them and plenty of insects gather.
- What to look for
- Webs that keep reappearing in corners, indoors and out. House spiders grow to about ⅜ inch and are usually brown or tan.
- How we treat it
- Treatment of outdoor nesting sites as part of an overall pest program, with web removal and sealing gaps around doors and windows.

Rats & mice
- Where they live
- They get in through windows, door thresholds, garage doors, dryer vents, downspouts, utility lines and construction gaps, then nest in walls and attics.
- What to look for
- Seeing a rat or a nest. Don’t disturb a nest yourself: droppings and urine can carry diseases, including hantavirus.
- How we treat it
- An outside-in inspection, entry points sealed with steel screening or sheet metal, trapping, preventative baiting and 48-hour rodent pickup.

Bed bugs
- Where they live
- Mattresses, curtains, furniture and unwashed clothing, or any crack or crevice near where people sleep. They hitchhike in luggage from hotels, buses and theaters.
- What to look for
- Bed bugs have nothing to do with housekeeping. Any home or business can get them. Clutter just gives them more places to hide.
- How we treat it
- A thorough inspection and accurate identification first, then treatment. Don’t throw your things out, because most of them can be treated.
Call early, before an infestation spreads to other rooms.

Mosquitoes
- Where they live
- Standing water around the yard: buckets, saucers and anywhere rain collects. One female can lay up to 300 eggs at a time.
- What to look for
- Bites at dusk, and a yard you’ve stopped using in summer.
- How we treat it

- Safe trapping and exclusion, with the openings they used sealed. Bats are protected by law and are excluded without harm.
